Marcel Vogel and his Crystal Discoveries For Empowerment
As we know, ancient modalities are becoming more and more commonplace every day. One of my favorite scientists in the field of crystals is Marcel Vogel.
Marcel Joseph Vogel (also known as Dr. Vogel) was born in 1917, was a research scientist for 27 years, was also a widely recognized spiritual healer who used faceted quartz crystals for healing and meditation. Toward the end of his life he taught workshops around the world to teach others about the healing and spiritual benefits of these crystals.
According to his own account, as a child he asked what his purpose in life was and was told by a voice that he would be a phosphor chemist doing pioneering work in luminescence. This insight inspired him to trap fireflies and create a laboratory in his home. He spent his time studying their glow-in-the-dark capabilities and worked tirelessly to replicate the chemical compounds responsible for their luminescence. During high school and college he majored in chemistry and physics but found little written or taught about luminescence. He was able to translate articles that were published in German and continued his experiments in private.
One of his most significant accomplishments was the creation of a magnetic coating that was used to coat IBM hard disks for data storage. This was a complex project and took weeks of 18-20 hour workdays. During one of these days he collapsed in exhaustion. He awoke to find he was lying in a pile of powdered chemical compounds that had been mixed together. He had received a revelation in his sleep that allowed him to combine the two chemical compounds in a way previously thought impossible.
After this discovery he founded Vogel Luminescence Corporation and developed a full line of fluorescent media including oil colors, phosphorescent paints, day-glo crayons, tempera colors, invisible ink, tracing and tagging powders used with insecticides and specialized black light kits for cancer detection, rodent contamination, milk inspection and more. He was also an active part-time consultant for IBM and received 32 patents for his inventions in multiple scientific fields including magnetic recording media, liquid crystals, photo relays and rare earth phosphors.
In addition to his esoteric research on quartz crystals and other occult and mystical topics, he is also credited with discovering how plants communicate. He is often referred to as the father of modern plant communication.
Crystals can be found everywhere in our lives; not only in expensive jewelry shops or New Age esoteric shops; they’re part of technology, nature and our own bodies – even within ourselves! But before delving deeper into their fascinating presence in everyday life, we should first understand exactly what constitutes a crystal.
He is also alleged to have been gifted with psychic or spiritual abilities such as intuitive guidance, pre-cognition, telepathy and channeling. These gifts were supposedly passed down to him by his mother who was said to have supported herself by using these abilities. These gifts are often considered to be common in many shamanistic and indigenous spiritual traditions. They are believed to be a form of spiritual communication that can be used to help people heal, guide and protect themselves. This type of information is often ignored or ridiculed by conventional scientists. The fact that so many famous psychics and healers are rooted in these ancient cultures is a sign that these abilities are more universal than is commonly recognized. We can only speculate as to the reasons behind this skepticism.
Crystals have long been used for their healing properties and are known to amplify energy as well as having an impact on human consciousness & our energetic field. One of the pioneers in this field was Marcel Vogel, who worked extensively with quartz crystals to understand their properties and potential applications. His work would eventually lead to the creation of Vogel crystals, a precise type of quartz crystal cut in a way that enhances their ability to interact with human energy fields and facilitate spiritual growth.
Vogel crystals are often referred to as “healing crystals” because they are believed to help heal both the physical and energetic bodies.
