INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Mick Billing.

Although uranium production has currently declined to low levels, the United States has the fourth-largest uranium resource in the world, behind Australia. Energy security has been a top priority for the American government for the past decade. Fortifying domestic supply chains while reducing dependence on foreign entities is America’s primary goal. While the US has seen some success in its energy ambitions, becoming the leader in oil production globally in 2013; however, it remains heavily reliant on imports of uranium to fuel its nuclear reactors.

The United States imports most of the uranium it uses as fuel. Uranium is the fuel most widely used by nuclear power plants for nuclear fission. Why is uranium significant for Thor Mining? “Energy security has been a top priority for the American government for the past decade,” says Mick Billing, Executive Chairman, Thor Mining.  “Fortifying domestic supply chains while reducing dependence on foreign entities is America’s primary goal.
